Overview
Brian specialises in IP valuations and the strategic management of IP in scaling businesses; from start-up companies, through scaling businesses, to multinational corporations. With a DPhil in nuclear physics and an MBA, he specialises in advising the use of IP as a business grows. He also advises clients on how to integrate IP and business strategies to attract venture capital investment, licensing IP and strategic filing strategies. Experienced in advising trade secret policy, as well as registered IP, Brian has attracted over £500 million into companies underpinned by their IP. As a scientist he patented six inventions.
